13.12.2012 First assessment experience on client protection in Tajikistan

At the beginning of December was implemented first assessment experience on client protection in Tajikistan, which was conducted at MDO “Dastras” by Microfinance Center and participance of two local experts of AMFOT – Rahimov Sobir and Abdulloev Shuhrat. Starting from February of 2013 this service on client protection assessment will be available to all AMFOT members.

15.11.2012 Draft of RT law “About inspection of business entities”

As we informed before the draft of the law about inspection of business entities is in reforming process. The representatives of AMFOT attend at the working group on development the draft of the law "About inspection of business entities" established under the State investment comity. The experts of AMFOT have been attracted for the development of previous version of the law too.

14.11.2012 Round table “Responsible lending”

National bank of Tajikistan jointly with German International Cooperation organized a round table on topic “Responsible lending”, which was held on November 14^th of 2012 at the conference hall of NBT. The representatives of AMFOT, Association of banks of Tajikistan, Ministry of justice, Ministry of finance, Ministry of trade and economic development, GIZ and NBT attended at the meeting. During the world financial crisis most of the finance institutions faced financial fluctuation of financial market, which negatively affected the clients finance institutions and today most of the donors and investors pay attention to social goals of microfinance institutions. At the same time National bank of Tajikistan – the regulator of credit organizations supported this initiative and invited the representatives of corresponding state authorities, AMFOT and ABT to hear their opinion and experience in order to discuss the coming activities on “Responsible lending” topic.

08.11.2012 Law of RT “About public and private partnership”

On October 1^st of 2012 Majlici namoyandagon Majlici Oli of RT was considered and approved the draft of the Law of RT “About public and private partnership” and currently it is under the consideration of Majlici Milli Majlici Oli of RT.
