In the first half of 2008 AMFOT won the UNDP tender based on which provided serial of educational programs (13 base trainings) to 6 newly established MLFs based on Centers of Supporting Jamoats. These organizations are: MLF “Ehyoi kuhiston”, MLF “Fayzi surhob”, MLF “Vahsh microfin”, MLF “Imdodi hutal”, MLF “Sugd microfin”, MLF “Rushdi vodii Zarafshon”. All together were conducted 64 trainings in house and in Dushanbe city at AMFOT training center. The number of participants were 562 people. To conduct the trainings were attracted an AMFOT ToT trainers and experts of National bank of Tajikistan.

UNDP project on strengthening the potential of MLF “Imdodi Rushed”

At the beginning of 2009 in the framework of UNDP AMFOT assisted on preparation of paperwork and registration of MLF “Imdodi Rushed”. Later on for the staff of this organization was provided 8 base trainings. The initiators of MLF “Imdodi Rushed” become 4 Centers of Supporting the Jamoats from Hisor, Shahrinav and Tursunzoda districts.

Project of European Commission “Support of land reform process in Sogd and Khatlon regions of Tajikistan”

Starting from second half of 2008 AMFOT closely cooperated with Branch of Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development of Tajikistan (ACTED). The objective of the project were to improve food security for poor farmers by effective realization of land reform through 4 chain components: a) improve the level of awareness; b) provide services and consulting; c) establish technical potential; d) improved coordination and political dialog. AMFOT in the framework of this project with ToT trainers provided two day trainings on financial education of population. Over 8000 people went through our trainings provided in house. At the end of project were organized two round tables with attendance of MFIs, farmers and representatives of local State Authorities.
